For the past several years, the athletics department has honored National Girls and Women in Sports Day by welcoming local children, grades K–6, to Sanford Field House for a free multi-sport clinic with the ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ women's athletic teams. "At the clinic, we had 12 women's teams and hosted more than 75 boys and girls," said Brigid St. Leger, interim assistant athletics director for marketing and fan engagement. The children engaged with the women's sports teams in a variety of activities including tennis, volleyball, lacrosse, track and field, rugby, and softball, among many others.
